We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary the week of November 13-18, 2018 with specials in the Café & Biergarten and Bakery. Enjoy specially- priced wine, beer and cocktails as well as a free gift during weekend dinner service in Durham and festive profiteroles and mini cakes throughout the week in the bakery in both Durham and Chapel Hill. These festivities are timed to the exact week we opened in November 1998. Here’s what we have in store for you!
Tuesday – Saturday: $1 Oysters (Durham dinner only)
Tuesday – Thursday: Beer & Wine Specials (Durham only)
- $5 Half Liter Rotating German Draft Special
- Riesling Special by the glass – Donnhoff Hermannshohle Riesling GG, Nahe Germany. This is a ‘Grosses Gewächs’ style Riesling, considered to be the driest of all Riesling styles, and must be harvested from specifically designated vineyard sites, graded to be the best of the best. Vines must low-yield, grapes must come to full maturity on the vine, and all grapes must be hand harvested.
Tuesday – Saturday: Black Forest Cocktail $7 (Durham only)
The Black Forest Cocktail (Kraken Black Spiced Rum, Madeira, Luxardo, Mole Bitters, and a brandied cherry) only $7!
Friday + Saturday: Free Gift at Dinner (Durham only)
All diners during weekend dinner hours will receive a small gift from Guglhupf at the conclusion of their meal.
Saturday + Sunday: Brunch Drink Specials $6 (Durham only)
Enjoy Guglhupf’s brand new Beetmosa (mimosa with Natalie’s Beet-Orange juice), Fuzzy Yellow + We Drink it at Noon (hot toddies), and the Comfortably Numb (hot espresso cocktail) for $6.
