Focusing on self-love and setting your intentions is a great way to start off 2024 on the right foot. Maria Geary is a Durham, NC based mixed media and fiber artist with a passion for visual journaling. She creates bold and expressive art and is influenced by her journaling practice and social issues. She incorporates texture and found objects in her work and encourages viewers to contemplate the feelings the art unveils.
