Chef Dave Alworth took charge of the Guglhupf kitchen in 2008. A veteran executive chef of some of the area’s finest restaurants, he brought his long standing relationships with area farmers, cheese makers, and fishmongers from the coast. Chef Alworth has a deep respect for German cuisine and enjoys using the Southern garden to bring local flavor to his preparations.
When not in the kitchen, Chef enjoys spending time with his family, international travel, playing bass in local bands and collecting rare books.
