Guglhupf will create a new vegan entree for our dinner menu in April, as part of the 2016 Bull City Vegan Challenge. Fifteen local restaurants are competing this year, and customers will vote on the winning dish. The Vegan Challenge entree will be on our menu from April 1st-30th, and votes will be tallied at the end of the month. Winners will be announced in early May.
Co-sponsored by Triangle Meatless Monday, the program challenges restaurants to go beyond salads and other ‘old school’ vegan options, and come up with something truly inspiring and satisfying that is fully plant-based. Our menu has always included vegan-friendly options, but we are eager to flex our creative muscle and expand upon that for the Bull City Vegan Challenge. More info at Bull City Vegan Chef Challenge
