“I had a roommate who described me as a ‘Purveyor of Fine Tunes’,” says singer-guitar player Richard Younger “That pretty well sums me up.”
A recent transplant from his native city of NYC, Richard is a songwriter who has lived quite a few lifetimes. “Over these many years, I’ve performed at most rock and folk clubs in NYC, stages in Denmark, Amsterdam and London, played at countless events and parties, a Firehouse Xmass party, SXSW, you name it.”
He also released several acclaimed records (“Julie- Anne” with popsters Treble Boys), and a solo LP, “Blue Horses.” Both were lauded in Billboard.
Richard is excited to bring his large repertoire of original, folk, Sixties classics, Blues, Ragtime and more to Guglhupf. “It’s one of my favorite eateries in Durham,” he says. “So come on by. It will be spectacular.”
